I’M STEF, IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU…
I am a freelance artist and illustrator with a diverse practice. I illustrate books, collaborate and coproduce art with communities, design and paint bespoke murals, deliver workshops to all ages, and I’m always open to new creative challenges!
My mission is to use my skills as an artist to help people tell their stories through visual language.
It’s all about developing my skills through a varied portfolio, then sharing what I’ve learned with others.

My guiding principle is that illustration has the power to communicate ideas and experiences that may be too complex or nuanced for words.
I have developed my style to provide a language that tells stories through visual images.
By experimenting with visual metaphor, colour theory, and composition, I aim to create visuals that are evocative and form a narrative when viewed together.
When developing and delivering workshops, my approach is ‘confidence and joy first, then skills’. It is my most firmly held belief that everyone has the capacity to be an artist, all they need is support and encouragement. As a facilitator, my job is to create the perfect environment for people to find their creative voice.
